SUBTLY SCULPTURAL ist ein Künstlerprojekt – initiiert und kuratiert von Gerda Kruimer, Zaida Oenema und Nelleke Beltjens – mit international tätigen Künstlern aus Belgien, Deutschland und den Niederlanden.

„Die Kunstwerke des Projekts SUBTLY SCULPTURAL bewegen sich an jener schmalen Schnittstelle, an der sich zwei- und dreidimensionale Formensprache treffen und in einen gewissen produktiven Konflikt miteinander treten. Ihr ästhetischer Reiz ergibt sich gerade aus dieser Spannung.“ Aus aus einem Text von Dr. Peter Lodermeyer.

Dies ist die zweite Ausstellung von SUBTLY SCULPTURAL (nach Rotterdam im Studio Seine im Sommer 2024), jedoch die erste in Deutschland. Die Galerie r8m ist stolz darauf, Werke dieser zwanzig Künstler zu präsentieren.

Subtly Sculptural is an artist project – initiated and curated by Gerda Kruimer, Zaida Oenema and Nelleke Beltjens – with internationally active artists from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

“The artworks of the project Subtly Sculptural work their way along that narrow interface where two- and three-dimensional form-language meet and enter into a certain productive conflict with each other. This is the second Subtly Sculptural exhibition (after Rotterdam at Studio Seine in summer 2024), but the first one in Germany. Gallery r8m is proud to present the works of these 20 artists.
